This was a surprise. They were 2 days early. I was checking under Mama and there were 4 little fluffballs. The kids were so excited. Since I picked them up to check them over anyway I let each of them hold a baby for a second. Mama is friendly and didn’t mind.
Goldie wants to be a mommy. I couldn’t resist and gave her some eggs to sit on. We are about half way through and I’m getting impatient.
Freelensing is taking photos with the lens NOT attached to the camera body. I took my 50mm and turned it the wrong way to get the macro effect. It is a bit nerve wrecking since it means the sensor is exposed to dust and moisture but I think the beautiful results are worth the small risk.
First attempt at freelensing. I don’t think my hands are steady enough. I still like the result.

He wants to come hang out with us in the front of the house so bad. But he thinks he is a ferocious watchdog and the road is his territory.
First visit to the creek this year. My little guy was so excited. He loves to throw rocks into the water.
It was warm enough to sow some lettuce and spinach this week but that will take a while to grow and I was really craving some fresh greens. So I sprouted some lentils. Who knew the lentils you buy at the grocery store would actually start to grow. They are a great addition to salads and sandwiches.
