He wants to come hang out with us in the front of the house so bad. But he thinks he is a ferocious watchdog and the road is his territory.

Creek -17/52
First visit to the creek this year. My little guy was so excited. He loves to throw rocks into the water.
Sprouts – 15/52
It was warm enough to sow some lettuce and spinach this week but that will take a while to grow and I was really craving some fresh greens. So I sprouted some lentils. Who knew the lentils you buy at the grocery store would actually start to grow. They are a great addition to salads and sandwiches.
Flowers – 14/52
So excited to see some color pop up outside after such a long and cold winter. I only planted these little iris bulbs last year and was pretty surprised how quick they came up.
Signs of Spring – 13/52
We still have some snow on the ground but it is definitely warming up. My tulips are peeking out of the ground.
Bluebird – 12/52
I can’t wait to shoot outside again without my fingers feeling like they will fall off. This little guy was sitting in the sun right outside my window looking all cute and fluffy. It was sunny but cold and he seemed to really enjoy soaking up the rays. This was taken through window, screen and storm window – at least my hands stayed warm.
Snow Dog – 11/52
That’s my weird and wonderful dog. For the first time in what seems like forever the temps went over 50 and he has to find the biggest pile of snow to lay on.
Robin in Flight – 10/52
Signs of spring are starting to pop up. There were a bunch of robins eating the last of the rose hips in our yard.
Untitled – 9/52
I almost didn’t have a picture for this week. It’s not pretty but this is my life this week. That’s the box of medical supplies and medications my husband brought home from the hospital.
